ASU SHECS Lab

As part of our ongoing Job Order Contract with Arizona State University, Waltz renovated Lab 351 in the School of Human Evolution & Social Change. The project included modern upgrades and new equipment to align the facility with ASU’s latest standards, enhancing its functionality for research and learning.

ASU GWC B38 Lab

Waltz was selected to complete the renovation of Lab B38 at Arizona State University’s Goldwater Center. This project involved the strategic demolition of the existing elevated cleanroom and support structure, followed by the installation of a new lay-in ceiling system, updated HVAC equipment, and comprehensive wiring and cabling upgrades. Enhancements included the addition of an eyewash and shower station, a new fume hood, and reconfigured ACT components. The scope also featured concrete grinding and sealing, along with general interior rework to optimize the lab for its new configuration and functionality.

ASU HFC 104 Environmental Chamber

Waltz was given the responsibility of installing an environmental chamber at ASU’s Health Future Center in Phoenix, AZ. The chamber allows for the manipulation of temperature and humidity in order to study affects on the human body.
