17,000 SF, 2-story addition that included 10 classrooms, 2 labs, and a music room on an occupied high school campus. The original roof structure of the classroom addition was designed to match the height of the gymnasium. This design would create windsails and affect the structural integrity. The Waltz team met with the architect, the structural engineer, and subs to create a solution to support the parapet with additional framing with crickets. This also minimized complications of working around the parapets during construction.
